Sharonview Federal Credit Union, one of the nation’s top 200 credit unions, is pleased to announce the opening of its Steele Creek branch in Charlotte. A full-service branch, the new Steele Creek location offers a more visible, convenient location and a variety of value-added financial services from banking to financial wellness.
“By relocating our Steele Creek branch to a larger, more accessible location, we are reinforcing our commitment to serving our members’ best interest” says President/CEO Bill Partin. “We look forward to connecting with new members in this new location, while maintaining strong relationships with existing members.”
The interior of the Steele Creek location, led by branch manager Temeka Long, has been updated to feature an open floor plan, and a tech bar with member experience pods. “Steele Creek is an ideal location to have our newest branch, as we expand to serve our customers’ needs,” Long says. “The new layout is more personal, allowing us to focus on interactions instead of just transactions.”
A ribbon cutting and networking event was held on Tuesday, July 10. Corporate and branch employees were in attendance, along with members of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.

The Steele Creek branch of Sharonview Federal Credit Union is located at 10922 South Tryon Street, Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28273. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sharonview Federal Credit Union operates 18 branches in North Carolina, South Carolina and New Jersey.
