Over 100 Charlotte students walked out of school today on Charlotte’s west side in protest of Monday’s police shooting, which resulted in the death of Danquirs Napoleon Franklin.
Students at Northwest School of the Arts walked out of classes for about an hour today holding signs, kneeling with their hands up, and shouting several of the more prominent chants from recent #BlackLivesMatter protest and rallies, including; “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot”, and “No Justice, No Peace, No racist police”.
