Charlotte Ranks As The 8th Worst Large City For College Basketball Fans


With March Madness just over a week away, the personal-finance website WalletHub just released its report on the 2018’s Best Cities for College Basketball Fans.

To find 2018’s top spots for NCAA hoops, WalletHub crunched the numbers on more than 280 cities using nine key metrics, ranging from the number of teams per city and the winning percentage of each to stadium capacity and social-media engagement.

The report named Chapel Hill as the #1 city in America for college basketball fans and Charlotte as the 8th worst. The Queen City ranked as the 249th overall and 49th among large cities;
