Charlotte Police Asking For Help In Finding Ballantyne Bank Robber

Charlotte police are now asking for the public’s help in finding a bank robber in South Charlotte. The suspect has already been involved in 3 separate Bank of America ATM robberies in Ballantyne over the past few weeks.

CMPD sent out the request for help this week, including pictures and a detailed description of the suspect;

“Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Armed Robbery Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in providing information that will assist them in identifying the suspect involved in a series of armed robberies at the Bank of America ATM, located at 13805 Conlan Circle.

• On July I, 2018, at approximately 11:24 p. m., South Division Officers responded to the Bank of America, located at 13805 Conlan Circle in reference 10 an armed robbery. Upon arrival the victim ad,􀂂sed that a male robbed him at gunpoint while he was attempting to make a deposit into the ATM. (CMPD report 20180701232402)
• On July 10, 2018, South Division Officers responded to the Bank of America on Conlan Circle in reference to a victim being robbed at gunpoint by a male while at the ATM. (CMPD report 20180710233400)
• On July 23, 2018, South Division Officers responded to the Bank of America on Conlan Circle in reference to a victim being robbed at gunpoint by a male while at the ATM. (CMPD report 20180723235401)

At this time. it appears that these three cases are all related. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male.”
