In today’s consumer driven economy, shoppers often have far more power than they realize to both make and break businesses – especially on a local level.

With the recent murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Stephon Clark, and dozens of other unarmed black Americans by police, it’s important for all Americans both fight for racial justice and support the black community.

One of the most powerful ways to show your support is with your wallet, and specifically, buy shopping at local black-owned shops.

Since COVID-19 numbers are still rising and social distancing is still in effect, we did some digging to find the top black-owned Etsy shops in Charlotte so you can still show your support from the safety of your own home.
