Charlotte-Area Man Arrested For Posting Live Video Claiming To Have Coronavirus In Walmart

This past week a Charlotte-area man was arrested for going live on Facebook inside of a Walmart claiming to have the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

According to Albemarle police, Albemarle resident Justin M. Rhodes has now been arrested for the stunt.

Justin was charged with Felony Perpetrating hoax in a Public Building and Disorderly Conduct. He’s been set with a $10,000 bond as he awaits his first court appearance scheduled for March 30th, 2020.
