Crescent Communities have just announced plans to break ground on their new multi-million dollar development in Ballantyne later this month.

According to a press release from the company, ‘NOVEL Ballantyne’ will consist of 3 5-story midrise residential towers, totaling 285 homes made up of a mix of studios, 1- and 2-bedroom plans. It will be located off Marvin Rd., on the outskirts of the traditional bounds of Ballantyne – essentially expanding the South Charlotte sub-region.

“NOVEL Ballantyne is part of a master-planned residential community bringing a mix of new housing options, including market-rate and age-restricted affordable apartment homes, as well as townhomes for rent,” said Michael Tubridy, Managing Director of Multifamily Development for the Carolinas and Tennessee at Crescent Communities. “The community is directly adjacent to two existing retail centers featuring Sprouts and Publix grocery stores, restaurants and office space, along with other convenience retail and neighborhood services.”

Construction for NOVEL Ballantyne is anticipated to begin later this month with first units slated to be delivered in March 2023.
