The longest pedestrian bridge in North America is just lit up over 40,000 Christmas lights 140 feet in the air to cap off one of the Charlotte region’s most impressive Christmas displays.

The 680-foot-long bridge now includes a 300-foot-long lighted tunnel that pedestrians can walk through while dangling above the clouds.

The new display is called “Lights Over Gatinburg” and is now open at the recently constructed SkyBridge and SkyDeck, just a few hours west of Charlotte.

To find out more about the SkyBridge or to reserver your slot to walk across, you can visit their website here.
