North Mecklenburg and Lake Norman will officially kick off their Christmas season this weekend with the 37th Annual North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade.
Rain or shine, the parade will start promptly at 1:00pm in Davidson at the intersection of Griffith Street and Highway 115 and it will continue through Cornelius and stop at the crossing of Highway 115 and Catawba Avenue.
Over 3,000 parade participants are now signed up to participate, including members of marching bands, local schools, boy and girl scout troops, local fire departments, businesses, and more. There will be firetrucks, floats, Clydesdale horses, and as always, Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
