Yesterday afternoon, Charlotte Water crews responded to a major wastewater overflow in Steele Creek.
According to the press release, a grease-buildup caused estimated 1,200 gallons of wastewater spilled out into a small creek that flowed into the Catawba River.
The overflow happened on O’Hara Dr in SouthWest Charlotte;
