100 Of Charlotte’s Top Leaders Just Took A Trip To Miami To Learn How We Can Grow

100 of Charlotte’s top business and community leaders just visited Miami last week for the Charlotte Chamber’s annual ‘Inter City Visit’ (you can browse the entire list of participants here). Every year the group visits a new city to discover what makes other cities tick and brainstorm how they might improve Charlotte.

This year the Miami trip included walking tours, panel discussions, and seminars with Miami’s top leaders.

The group took off from Charlotte Douglas on June 22nd;

Art Gallagher with Novant Health captured the welcoming committee in Miami;

The first piece of the trip was a bus tour;

Natalie Dick, VP at the Charlotte Chamber, was impressed with their arenda;

and some new developments;

They grabbed a quick bite to eat;

Then heard from the mayor about Miami’s growth and struggles;

They visited the port;

Then stopped by their hotel;

Before taking in the sights on a sunset yacht cruise;

Which included plenty of selfies;

They started the next morning with an informational session about transportation;

and took some more selfies;

Then headed down to the Wynwood Walls to look at some graffiti;

and learn about design;

and entrepreneurship;

Then they headed back to the Queen City on June 24th to share what they learned;

in style…

Please share;
