As Charlotte continues to grow, so does its dining selections. Many of our new culinary experiences have even landed us on the list of America’s Best Food Cities.
With so many choices, the website Zagat.com, has decided to put together a list of what they consider our cities best new restaurants and bars.
Their latest top 10 list includes:
#1 Yamazaru – South End’s funky new sushi place is offering up a modern twist on classic dishes.
#2 The Porter’s House — Waverly’s newest restaurant is a trendy new steakhouse headed by the Dresslers.
#3 Carolina Beer Temple – Ayrsley – This is an offshoot of the Matthews Carolina Beer Temple offering a slightly different local beer selection and a wider snack menu.
#4 Dilworth Tasting Room This place has an amazing selection of wines and cheese for anyone to sample – and the setting simply can’t be beat.
#5 Kinship – One of Charlotte’s most anticipated new tappas place recently opened in the heart of Uptown Charlotte’s Ritz-Carlton.
#6 Popbar Handcrafted Gelato on a Stick in California, New York, Florida, and now Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood.
#7 Haberdish — Another NoDa opening, Haberdish mixes southern roots with creative twists and a truly one-of-a-kind craft cocktail bar.
#8 The Hop Shop – The Hop Shop recently opened in Plaza Midwood, similar to the Carolina Beer Garden but with more of an industrial feel.
#9 Que Onda Tacos + Tequila – now that Maverick Rock Taco has closed, we’ve needed a new killer street taco place – Uptown Charlotte’s new Que Onda certainly doesn’t disappoint.
#10 Tavolo – this place now serves of some of Charlotte’s best homestyle Italian food in the Queen City, located in uptown, you need to check it out.
