Single family construction remained strong at the end of 2016 with 356 permits issued worth $57.2 million in the 4th quarter. The single family detached (SFD) value has now increased every year since 2011.
Resale prices also reached record levels for the 5th year in a row, and prices throughout the Concord region are how hovering at pre-2007 prices.
According to Zillow, “the median home value in Concord is $167,600. Concord home values have gone up 7.2% over the past year and Zillow predicts they will rise even more next year. The median list price per square foot in Concord is $109, which is lower than the Charlotte Metro average of $115. The median price of homes currently listed in Concord is $256,000. The median rent price in Concord is $1,295, which is higher than the Charlotte Metro median of $1,286.”
