If you’re heading to North Carolina for a gambling vacation, your only real option is the sprawling Catawba Casino over in Kings Mountain. This vast resort aims to deliver a luxury, all-inclusive gambling experience for tourists coming to the Tar Heel State.
However, the casino itself is not yet completed. Since July 2021, there has been a temporary casino structure on the site, as the Catawba Nation awaits the final permits to complete the resort. We don’t know the exact opening date of the completed site yet, but we do know it should be sometime in 2022.
