University City Partners announces the return of University City Night Market, an open-air marketplace at the lake and boardwalk at Shoppes at University Place. University City Night Market will support small local businesses while showcasing some of the best of Charlotte culture. The market will open on December 4 and each Saturday through December 18 from 6-9 p.m.
In time for the holidays, University City Night Market will offer unique and quality retail items, holiday beverages and festive music. A diverse lineup of vendors will participate each week. Shoppers will find handmade crafts, jewelry, art and sweets.
Surrounding the shopping experience, attendees will encounter live entertainment, including candle-lit boat rides around the lake and performances by local bands. All events are open to the public and free to attend for all ages.
Guests are encouraged to access the market by riding the LYNX Light Rail, walking or biking on the Barton Creek Greenway, or parking at Shoppes at University Place, 8929 JM Keynes Drive.
