A tornado touched down in Carteret County this past weekend, damaging boats, cars, and even homes around several North Carolina coastal neighborhoods. One boat was even picked up and thrown onto the porch of a house.

CBS affiliate WNCN in Raleigh reported that the tornado originally began as a waterspout and then moved onto land.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down in the town of Bogue, NC. An EF-0 has average wind speeds of 65-85 MPH.

At this point, only one person has been reported injured, but the injuries weren’t serious.
