As the COVID-19 Pandemic continues to take its toll on both our health and our economy, several churches are now doing more to help the hurting.

Charlotte’s own Nexus Church has started what they call “pop-up grocery stores” to give away free boxes of a variety of milk, fruit, poultry, and vegetables to hurting families.

People have come from as far as Monroe and Statesville to get a box this past Saturday.

Nexus Church plans on hosting their next pop-up community grocery this coming Sunday, August 2nd from 12:30-2:30pm at 1800 Brewton Drive.

Free boxes containing milk, fruit, poultry, and vegetables will be available for pick up on a first-come first-serve basis while supplies last.
