Two North Carolina eateries have just been ranked among the best in the nation, according to Yelp’s new “Top 100 Places To Eat In 2022” report.
The highest ranking Carolina restaurant was Greensboro’s Machete, coming in at #18 in the nation – a modern kitchen that offers uniquely assembled fresh local and global ingredients, including; beef tartare w/ daikon, duck confit w/ cannellini, and grilled coulotte steak w/ parsnip.

The other North Carolina restaurant to make the top 100 list was Harvest Grill in Dobson, NC.
The Harvest Grill sits on the grounds of Shelton Vineyards and offers a farm-to-table globally inspired menu including; Pork Schnitzel, Braised Beef Bolognese, and Joyce Farms Chicken Breast, braised with ground walnuts and pomegranate.

According to Yelp, they determined their ‘Top Places to Eat in 2022’, by using “submissions from the community to determine the top restaurants by ratings, number of reviews, and volume of submissions, with geographic representation based on equal share of submissions of top-rated restaurants nationally.” They further curated the list with the expertise of our Community Managers around the country to finalize the rankings.
