Sycamore Brewing’s Fantasy Land Hazy IPA Wins Gold Crushie Award

Sycamore Brewing has officially announced that its Fantasy Land Hazy IPA won a Gold Crushie Award in the Best 16-20oz Can category. The Crushie Awards are sponsored by the Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CBMA) where breweries, their artists, designers, branding and marketing teams can compete on an international level.

Sycamore collaborated with Jacksonville-based artist, Kendrick Kidd, to create the Fantasy Land can design. The design concept features one Fantasy Land scene, which was cut into four different labels. Each can is labeled with which part of the series it is, i.e. 2 of 4, so beer enthusiasts have the opportunity to collect them all.

“We are thrilled to be honored with this award for Fantasy Land’s design concept,” says co-owner of Sycamore Brewing, Sarah Brigham. “The Fantasy Land Hazy IPA is one of our most popular beers and we brought it back just in time for summer. This IPA has notes of neon citrus, smooth piña colada and tropical fruits.”

The CBMA’s accept entries from all over the world and are awarded based on five regions: North and South America, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia/Pacific/Australia/ New Zealand and the Middle East, Africa and others. The panel of CMBA judges include beer, marketing and design experts with expertise across the globe.
