At least five people were shot this morning in Gastonia. Early reports indicate some victims may have suffered fatal injuries. According to Gastonia police, the suspect is still at large.
The shooting was reported in the 2600 block of Forbes Road in south Gastonia. Gastonia Fire personnel were among the first emergency crews to respond.
Authorities have established a crime scene around the area.
Authorities have not yet released the victims’ identities or confirmed their conditions.
