Today, the personal finance site WalletHub released a new report breaking down which States Unemployment Claims Are Recovering the Quickest.
According to the latest week-over-week figures, every state had unemployment claims last week that were better than the same week last year. Six states had unemployment claims last week that were lower than before the pandemic: Iowa, Arizona, South Carolina, West Virginia, Arkansas, and Vermont.
South Carolina was ranked #1 in the nation, both for last week’s figures and since the start of the Pandemic.
