A new partnership between Red Bull and Rauch is now planning the largest economic development project in Cabarrus County history.
According to a press release, the companies will be purchasing the old Philip Morris site and building a massive new facility that will become one of the largest beverage manufacturing plants in the South East. They will be investing a total of $740 million and creating 400 new jobs for the region.
“Global manufacturers need a world-class workforce to support their expansion plans,” said Governor Cooper. “In North Carolina, Red Bull and Rauch have chosen the largest manufacturing workforce in the Southeast and a resilient business climate with an excellent transportation infrastructure to support their long-term growth.”
