“Purple Rain,” an iconic 1984 film starring late singer Prince will now be played in AMC and Carmike theaters near you.
The film offers a dramatic insight into the Kid’s (Prince) life of turbulence and spontaneity. Using music to cope with his inner and outer struggles, the Kid finds himself balancing life’s ups and downs.
According to Variety, “AMC, the nation’s largest theater chain, is teaming with Warner Bros. to screen “Purple Rain” in 87 AMC locations this Saturday, April 22, through Thursday, April 27.”
This past Thursday, Prince, 57, was found dead at his Paisley Park Home.
