If you’re looking for a relaxing mountain adventure, the new ‘Uncorked’ rail line might be the perfect option.

Great Smoky Mountains Railroad out of Bryson City, NC recently started offering a truly luxurious railroad experience, featuring food, wine, and majestic mountain views.

Guests will travel in newly renovated first-class rail cars. A variety of hand-selected wines will be served during the ride, which are all paired with a wide range of fine cheeses and a surf and turf meal.

A narrator explains each wine – where it comes from (most are selected from North Carolina wineries) and why it pairs so well with the food you’re eating, as well as unique information about the surrounding mountain views.
