North Carolina’s XVIII Airborne Corps out of Fort Bragg has just established Task Force Dragon in Eastern Europe to help deter further Russian aggression amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The new task force was established in South Eastern Poland, consisting of over 5,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne, 101st Airborne, and 16th Military Police Brigade.

The deployment of North Carolina’s XVIII Airborne Corps were part of the 3,000+ troop deployment the Pentagon ordered out of Fort Bragg earlier this month.
