The Joedance Film Festival will renew one of its legacy fundraising events by hosting “Joedance Jam” on Friday, June 29 from 4-7 p.m. at Suffolk Punch in South End (2911 Griffith Street, Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28203). Joedance Jam is a night of live music through which funds are raised for Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s, which receives proceeds from Joedance Film Festival activities. $1 from every beer sold at Suffolk Punch between 4-7 p.m. will be donated to Joedance to help the organization’s fight against rare pediatric cancers. Live performances will include: Chris Moreno of Nashville, Josey Wails Band of Charlotte and The Sammies of Charlotte. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202), which will host the event for the second consecutive year. The move to Charlotte Ballet positions Joedance to participate in the North Tryon Street renaissance and contribute to the northern tier of Uptown Charlotte’s continued growth. Joedance has expanded its film eligibility footprint by accepting films throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
