Great news for any North Carolinian who hasn’t been vaccinated yet – the state-wide timeline for all groups has just been moved up to April 7th (there are currently just 3 counties in our state who are vaccinating all groups).
In a press release, Governor Cooper commented, “I’m grateful for North Carolinians who are taking this seriously and getting the shot when it’s their time and I’m encouraged that North Carolina will be able to open eligibility to all adults well ahead of the President’s May 1 goal.”
He sent out a post on social media saying that due to “an accelerated vaccine timeline…eligibility for all of Group 4 begins March 31, and all adults will be eligible to get their shot starting April 7.”
