Forbes just released their complete ranking of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” for 2019 and 5 companies from Charlotte landed among the top 50.
The Queen City-headquartered companies that made the list included; Bank of America, Coca-Cola Consolidated, Duke Energy, Nucor, and Lowe’s (technically headquartered in Mooresville).
To determine the ranking from the millions of companies around the globe, Forbes asked thousands of executives and analysts to rate businesses in their own industry across a range of different criteria, including; investment value, quality of management, products, social responsibility, and ability to attract talent.
They then asked those who responded to pick 10 companies that they admired the most from a list of companies that ranked in the top 25% of Forbes surveys last year. Anyone could vote for any company in any industry.
