Cleveland County Man Parks Truck By Library of Congress w/ Alleged Bomb Inside

UPDATE 2:30pm 8/19/2012:

US Capitol Police have just announced that they have apprehended 50-year-old Floyd Ray Roseberry from Grover, NC, a small town in Cleveland County on the NC/SC border, just south of Kings Mountain.

Police are still searching to vehicle to determine whether or not there is an explosive device on board.

This morning at about 10am, a Cleveland County man (about 45 minutes west of Charlotte) parked his pickup truck in front of the Library of Congress and started shouting that he had a bomb in the truck.

The US Capitol Police posted about the bomb threat on Twitter, saying, “the USCP is responding to a suspicious vehicle near the Library of Congress. Please stay away from this area and follow this account for the latest information.”

About an hour later, they confirmed the threat, saying, “this is an active bomb threat investigation”.

Here is a video of the suspect from Cleveland County, Floyd Ray Roseberry, who posted the following Facebook live video (it has since been taken down by Facebook and uploaded to Youtube). In the video, Roseberry can be heard saying, “People think this is a joke, but they cleared the block, I called 911 3 times, they need to get Joe Biden down here…I’m not hurting nobody Joe, I’m not pulling the trigger on this thing, I can’t, there’s no way for me to blow this up…only you can by shooting a bullet through my window…you don’t want to do it Joe…” and added, “We got a few options here Joe, you shoot me, there’s 2 1/2 blocks going with it, then you talk about a revolution, the revolution is on, it’s here, it’s today, I told my wife I’d be home by Sunday…”

At 12:07am this afternoon, the Chief of the US Capitol Police gave the following update on the situation:
