Charlotte is about to host its 6th annual Kosher BBQ Championship.
This coming Labor Day (Sept. 2nd), from 11am – 3pm, The Levine Jewish Community Center will be hosting the annual championship on their South Charlotte campus.
Since the event is officially ‘kosher’, no pork will be cooked or served. The event will feature a wide variety of beef, chicken and vegetable-based meat substitutes.
All proceeds from the public event will be donated to CMS Title 1 schools.
