Charlotte Rent Prices Up 0.2% This Month – February 2022 Rental Report

The team at Apartment List has just published Charlotte’s February Rent Report, complete with pricing data through January 2022.
Some of the highlights for the Queen City include:
  • In Charlotte, the 2022 rental season kicked off with a 0.2% increase in January, compared to a 0.2% increase nationally.
  • Annual rent growth in Charlotte now stands at 19.6% after a year in which the pandemic drove prices up rapidly. In other parts of the country, annual rent growth exceeds 25%.
  • Median rents in Charlotte now stand at $1,272 for a one-bedroom apartment and $1,421 for a two-bedroom.
