The anticipated 2021 Queen City Back 2 School Festival will take place next weekend on August 21st. The free event will feature food, music, and a free school supply giveaway.
Event organizer Michael Calloway says “studies show that a prepared child is more confident and likely to succeed. With parents out of work and children just returning to school the responsibility falls on us all to pitch in for the current school year”. The festival’s mission is to increase community engagement, support local businesses, and have a successful school supply giveaway.
The August events promise a unique twist with onsite vendors, music, dance performances, free giveaways, and a family atmosphere for all to enjoy.
