On Saturday, November 1, mobile fuel delivery service Pumped Up Fuel will set up at Charlotte Douglas International Airport from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering complimentary gasoline to TSA employees affected by the government shutdown.

This gesture is part of the company’s “Fueling Good” initiative, which recognizes and supports essential workers who continue to show up despite delayed pay.

Based in Charlotte, Pumped Up Fuel initially launched this past Summer to bring on-demand fueling directly to vehicles at homes, offices, marinas, and job sites.

Charlotte’s only mobile fuel delivery company is now showing how local businesses can make tangible impact in the face of federal disruptions.
