The governor of North Carolina will be visiting Charlotte today to take part in the dedication of one of the largest new developments our city has seen in decades.
Today Centene, a multi-national healthcare enterprise, will be hosting a dedication ceremony for their new $1 billion East Coast headquarters here in the Queen City, which is expected to create over 6,000 new jobs for Charlotte.
“Centene’s investment here is great for the Charlotte area and our whole state,” said Governor Cooper. “Centene knows that North Carolina has a resilient economy, ready workforce, livable communities and a host of other assets that make our state a leading destination for forward-thinking businesses.”
The dedication ceremony is set for 11am this morning.
