It’s a jam-packed end of the year for Alliance Residential Company in the Charlotte market.

The company just closed on two more property purchases in South End and in University City.

The Boulevard, A Broadstone Community: Alliance purchased 2.16 acres at 2408 South Boulevard. The 283-unit luxury apartment community will include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments averaging 797 square feet each and be ready for initial occupancy in early 2024. The community will feature outdoor fitness spaces, individual co-work spaces, 24/7 Luxer One package system, resort-style pool, outdoor kitchen and grill areas, a dog run, electric vehicle car charging stations, and a clubroom. In a nod to the neighborhood’s reputation as a food and craft brew destination and the project’s jazz age design inspiration, the community will also feature a resident speakeasy-style lounge.

Prose McCullough Station: Alliance purchased 2.92 acres at 8430 N. Tryon Street. The 279-unit apartment community is steps from the LYNX Blue Line light rail station it’s named for, and is the first property in Charlotte under the Prose brand. Prose is Alliance’s new housing concept that creates attainable homes within close proximity to high growth employment corridors. The community will be a five-story, wrap-style building including approximately 60% one-bedroom units and 40% two-bedroom units. Community amenities will include a 24-hour fitness facility, resort-style pool, outdoor lounges and grilling stations, pet park, co-working space, and structured parking.

These new apartment projects will be Alliance Residential Company’s seventh and eighth project in Charlotte. Earlier this month the company announced it closed on the acquisition of 2.1 acres of land on the North Davidson Corridor for the development of Broadstone Craft. In August 2021, the company welcomed residents to Broadstone Ayrsley in Southwest Charlotte, and in May 2021 closed on the acquisition of land in Optimist Park for the development of Broadstone Optimist Park. In December 2020, Alliance Residential Company opened Broadstone Lemmond Farm between Charlotte and Mint Hill, and in July 2020 closed on the acquisition of 10.8 acres in North Charlotte for the development of Broadstone Highland Creek, which is expected to open in the coming weeks.
