The Fourth Annual My Breast Friend’s Wedding raised a record-breaking $145,000+ for The Go Jen Go Foundation during an enchanting evening of community, connection and giving back.

Held on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Hyatt Centric in SouthPark, the wedding-inspired fundraiser brought over 300 women together for a memorable night to support local breast cancer patients and their families.

Guests donned wedding dresses, bridesmaid gowns and wedding-inspired attire for this year’s Enchanted Garden Fête. Surrounded by twinkle lights, lush greenery and beautiful florals, attendees enjoyed a champagne reception, craft cocktails, chef-curated cuisine, wedding cake, and photo experiences. The evening also featured a bouquet toss, an aisle walk, a silent auction, a DJ and dancing, and a Happily Ever After Party. Longtime Go Jen Go supporter Molly Grantham emceed the festivities.

“This year’s My Breast Friend’s Wedding was truly something special and filled with so much love, generosity and compassion,” said Shawna Dye Culik, event chair of My Breast Friend’s Wedding and board chair for The Go Jen Go Foundation. “We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped make this event such an amazing success and carried forward Go Jen Go’s late founder Jen Pagani’s legacy of love and kindness. To every guest, sponsor, supporter and volunteer, you made this happen. You are the heart of The Wedding.”

All proceeds benefit The Go Jen Go Foundation, which provides critical financial assistance to more than 115 families per month in the greater Charlotte area who are facing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.

“We are so grateful and honored to be the beneficiary of My Breast Friend’s Wedding and appreciate everyone who said ‘Yes!’ to being part of this extraordinary evening,” said Susan Evren, executive director of Go Jen Go. “This event is about women showing up to support one another and lifting up local breast cancer patients and their families in meaningful ways.”
