A U.S. military infrared video showing a UAP captured off the North Carolina coast has been officially declassified and released to the public today as part of the Department of War’s second major UAP release.
The footage, labeled DOW-UAP-PR086 “UAP from Dec 2019 (East Coast)”, was captured by a military sensor off the North Carolina’s coastline.
The 34-second infrared clip shows a sensor tracking an anomalous heat signature against the background. The object remains unidentified.
The video is part of Release 02 under the PURSUE system. The Department of War announced the new batch today on X, noting massive public interest in the war.gov/UFO site.

North Carolina’s coast is a frequent hub for Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force training operations. This release adds to the growing archive of declassified UAP material being made public.
North Carolina has a long history of UAP and UFO sightings across our state, including the Brown Mountain Lights, orbs and crafts spotted over the piedmont, and a numerous coastal sightings.
