South End is about to look even more like Uptown with the announcement of yet another high rise in the rapidly growing region of our city.
This afternoon, Catalyst Capital Partners and Stiles announced they will be building a 30-story tower on the site of what was once Charlotte’s most iconic chicken shacks.
According to Stiles, the new development will be an “ultra-luxury multifamily/mixed-use tower”. It’s currently planned to include 291 units of residential, 9,500 square feet of retail, and about 10,000 square feet of office space.
Construction is now set to begin in the 3rd quarter of 2022.
