Oprah’s primary goal in the Queen City was to celebrate Andronica Klaas’ graduation, who just earned a degree at Charlotte’s Johnson C. Smith University after attending the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.
The 63-year-old media mogul attended the school’s baccalaureate service; sitting alone in a front pew of the school’s Jane M. Smith Memorial Church.
She then went out to the Fig Restaurant in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood to get some one-on-one time with her JCSU “Daughter Girl”.
The one… the only… @Oprah! It was an honor to have her dine with us for a @JCSUniversity graduation celebration last night! pic.twitter.com/zBstjspKoW
