MPV Properties‘ 320,000 square foot Riverbend Village will soon become the largest retail development in North-West Charlotte.
Corning Optical recently broke ground on their new headquarters in the development, which will eventually bring over 400 new jobs to the area.
The mixed-use village will be anchored by a 78,000 square foot Harris Teeter grocery store and will include over 385,000 square feet of office space (including Corning Optical’s headquarters) and 600 residential units.
The development will also include out-parcels of HT Fuel and Taco Bell, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Firehouse Subs.
The current retail tenants for the main shopping center include E Life Nail Spa, Great Clips, a, and a cell phone provider. They are currently negotiating long-term leases for a fitness concept, pet store, pizza restaurant, wing restaurant, yogurt shop, and a mail services store.
Riverbend Village is located in the heart of the Mountain Island Lake community of Northwest Charlotte off Mount Holly Huntersville Road.
They now plan on opening in the Spring of 2018.
