Who is Zovaal
Zovaal is also known as the last obstacle to pass in the newest instance in World of Warcraft – The Sepulcher of the First Ones.
He was the final and most substantial encounter in the instance. However, players have yet to see and experience his full power.
The Jailer is known for his malicious intent to destroy Azeroth. He was a powerful being, known as an Eternal One. Ruling over the Maw in the territory of the Shadowland, he controlled the power of the Domination Magic.
Similarly, the place he ruled from is named the Sanctum of Domination. In the latest raid, your purpose is to find him and defeat him. You prevent him from destroying all forms of life in the World of Azeroth.
The Lore Behind Zovaal
When it comes to lore, there are many exciting things to learn about our Jailer – Zovaal.
Created by the First Ones, he was one of the most powerful Eternal Ones. Originating from Zereth Mortis, the Jailer had one original purpose set but the First Ones. To judge all those mortal souls and set up their afterlives – taking the position of an Arbiter.
Looking at his story, you could say that all seemed well. Till in his lore, the evil of doubt corrupted him.
At some point, he becomes suspicious of a hidden knowledge in Zereth Mortis – kept in secret by his creators. He believed that the plans of the Progenitors would not succeed and that an unpredictable threat would destroy their ideas about life and existence.
As you can guess at this point, he turned to be evil, coveting the Sigils of the Progenitors; he chose the dark path.
After that, the story is well-known. He was being driven by wishes to create a world where he would be serving as the creator. Zovaal used his powers, far surpassing his siblings, and tried to take the sigils with brute force.
Being strong enough, he united the Pantheon of the Death against himself. Under their power, he succumbed and was put on Trial, judged for his actions, and chased away. He was proclaimed as the Jailer – chased to the Maw to live as a guard dog for an eternity.
And this is where your story begins. First, you will have to face all the bosses of the new instance. Defeat them one by one and finally reach the Jailer. Then, you will have to defeat Zovaal and once again stop his evil plans from succeeding.
Tomb of the First Ones
As you know, Sepulcher of the First Ones is the last instance. The latest updates in the newest expansion of World of Warcraft. A place filled with treasures, bosses, and multiple challenges to complete.
This instance is separated on two difficulty levels – when it comes to the bosses. The first eight bosses are firm, but the last three are even more robust.
If you plan to unlock achievements, gather loot, or just get a specific pet or mount. Then, you will have to prepare yourself for a raid group or join an existing one.
To even participate, you will have to meet a well-known set of requirements. Starting from level to minimum equipment requirements and others.
If you haven’t prepared yet, do not worry. The instance officially began this month – March 2022. That means you will have some time to prepare till every part of the content is out, including the Jailer, who will be available in April.
