Every year, Bon Appétit scours the nation the country to find unique restaurants that separate themselves with unexpected taste, presentation, and technique. They initially nominate the top 50 in their Best New Restaurants in America list. Their senior staff then selects the candidates in the list to be honored as the Hot 10: America’s Best New Restaurants.
Kindred’s Squid-Ink Conchiglie with Blue Crab and Sea-Urchin Butter was also included on Bon Appétit’s “Best Pasta Dishes of 2015” list.
Chef/Owner Joe Kindred was also praised for his seasonally inspired dishes, including his Crispy Oysters, Carolina Shrimp Rolls, house-made pastas, and milk-bread rolls.
