Charlotte’s apartment development is growing like crazy, and now, so is our skyline. Uptown Charlotte recently started constructing two new skyscrapers withing the 485 loop, thickening our skyline, but the newest skyscraper announcement will truly expand it.
The new 25 story tall tower, now being called the “Design Center Apartment Tower”, will expand Charlotte’s skyline into the heart of Southend.
RAM Realty Services and Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio are now embarking on a massive 265 feet tall apartment tower, containing 296 total units. It will sit squarely at the intersection of Camden Road and Worthington Avenue in South End.
The entire development is now planned to include 56 studios, 168 one bedrooms, 52 two bedrooms, 18 three bedrooms, a 950 sqft amenity deck, 552 space parking deck and 1400 sqft of resident space on the 6th floor.
Groundbreaking is now set for later this year.
