Today was the final day of Judge Kavanaugh’s supreme court hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Many are now saying that it may become one of the most controversial political days in American history.
This morning, Christine Blasey Ford, who said Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in High School, testified before the committee, appearing credible and genuine during several hours of testimony.
Kavanaugh was then given the opportunity to respond to the allegations this afternoon, taking questions from both Democrat and Republican senators.
After Ford and Kavanaugh’s testimonies, several senators gave their opinion of the situation, and perhaps one of the angriest came from South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, who pointed his finger and yelled that the treatment of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was the “most despicable thing” he has seen in politics and that the Democrats are now engaged in “the most unethical sham.”

President Trump weighed in on Kavanaugh’s testimony about an hour ago, but did not respond at all to Ford’s testimony;
Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!
