Rents Up 2.4% Over The Past Year – August 2019 Charlotte Rental Report

In spite of rental rates flattening out across the nation, Charlotte’s rates have continued to increase at record paces.

ApartmentList.com just released their August 2019 rental report, showing rents in Charlotte increasing 0.3% over the past month, and up 2.4% year-over-year.

Charlotte’s median two-bedroom rent of $1,151 is currently below the national average of $1,191, but our prices have been increasing at a higher rate than the rest of the nation.

Most other cities in North Carolina have also been seeing rising rates – with Wilmington and the Raleigh-Durham area experiencing the highest;
