Governor Cooper is about to announce a new incentive program to help get more people in North Carolina, now that vaccine numbers have begun to stagnate with only 54% of adults in our state now vaccinated (compared to 64% nationally).
WRAL News analyzed states that offered similar incentive programs, and showed that the larger the incentive, the larger the vaccination rate increase:
