The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department has just released a powerful new piece of technology that they hope will make all residents safer moving forward.
If you witness a crime or are the victim of a crime, you can now report it directly onto CMPD’s new MyCMPD app.
The app was officially launched yesterday on Android and Apple app stores.
It will now allow almost instantaneous 2-way communication between officers and residents, with a real-time response tracker, crime report statuses, and streaming alerts.
