Charlotte’s most iconic Starbucks is about to be demolished and yet another medical building will be built in its place, if a new permit filed with the city is approved.
According to property records, 1401 East Blvd, where the Starbucks is located, was sold on October 21st, 2019 for $4.5 million to “SHG EAST BOULEVARD LLC”, a newly created subsidiary of Summit Healthcare Group.
SHG also purchased Theory Design Group building next door for $2.27 million on Sept. 27th and the Key Man Building next to that for $4.75 million on the same day.
