CMPD is asking for the public’s help in locating 49-year-old Jenny Gore Bruton, who’s now been missing for over 36 hours.
Bruton was last seen Monday evening leaving her office on Ballantyne Village Way. She was driving a 2015 gold Hyundai Elantra with North Carolina license plate JLT-5075.
According to officials, she purchased gas at a Rock Hill station around 8:30 p.m., but she never arrived at her intended destination. Her phone was later discovered abandoned in a parking lot near West Boulevard, close to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Bruton is described as a white female, approximately 5’5″ tall and weighing around 150 pounds. She has auburn hair and blue eyes.

Investigators are treating this as a missing persons case and are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts—or who may have seen her vehicle—to call 911 immediately.
The official police report number for this case is 20250729-1358-00.
