Charlotte just ranked among the top 10 cities in the world for what has to be one of the best possible measures – quality of life.
The ranking was put out by Numbeo, the world’s largest database of statistics and data about countries and cities around the world.
According to Numbeo, “Quality of Life Index (higher is better) is an estimation of overall quality of life by using an empirical formula which takes into account purchasing power index (higher is better), pollution index (lower is better), house price to income ratio (lower is better), cost of living index (lower is better), safety index (higher is better), health care index (higher is better), traffic commute time index (lower is better) and climate index (higher is better).”
Charlotte was ranked at #9 in the world, just behind Brisbane, Australia (#8), and 6 spots behind Raleigh (#3).
